Shaoxing'swimming pool

During these rainy days, we had few solutions to keep our good spirits : have a massage every week (but it's a topic for an other message), drink french wine every night and go to the swimming pool as often as allowed our schedule.

Henrica, Laura, Mike & me often ride or walk as far as the Swimming pool & Fitness center. This huge, very modern and completely empty place is near Yuexiu, but how to get there?

Go to the North Gate (near SPT street)


Then, go straight as far as the crossroad. Your landmark is the two wonderful chimneys


Cross the road and turn right. Further, on your left, you get the gate of the residence, just go through it

The Swimming and Fitness Center is right in front of you

We found out it's empty because it's expensive : 30 RMB for one ticket entrance!
BUT we discovered that we could pay half the price in buying a card. We decided to share this card that costs 490 RMB for one month and 30 entrances.

Firstable, I was a little bit afraid to swim in a chinese swimming pool : is it clean? is it cold? Finally it's alike our western pools except it is empty. So you can enjoy to be alone and swim as you want without caring about what happens around you!

What you absolutely need to bring : 20 RMB for the locker, your swimming cap and your plastic sleepers (it's more safe and clean).
